Sport Injury Assessment & Treatment
Sprains, strains, tendon overload, and joint injuries respond best to an accurate diagnosis and a plan matched to your sport's demands. Your physiotherapist combines clinical assessment, manual therapy, targeted exercise, and — where appropriate — IMS/dry needling to settle the injury and start restoring load tolerance early. The plan accounts for your season, your position, and what your body actually has to do when you return.
Return-to-Sport & Post-Surgical Rehab
For major injuries — ACL reconstructions, rotator cuff repairs, significant sprains — the difference between a good and a poor outcome is the quality of the rehabilitation that follows. We work in conjunction with your surgeon's protocols through the critical phases: early range of motion, progressive strengthening, and finally sport-specific testing before you return. The goal is not just a healed structure but restored biomechanics that protect it under game-speed load.
Youth Athletes
Growing athletes are not small adults — training load, growth-related injuries, and long-term development all need to be managed differently. Volt Health treats youth athletes across the Fraser Valley sports community, from first assessment through return-to-play, and our athletic floor supports ongoing development work once the injury is resolved. Families appreciate being able to book online and keep the whole process in one clinic.
The Performance Pathway
When rehab ends, you do not have to leave. Our kinesiologists, acting as strength and conditioning coaches, continue your progression into athletic performance training: functional movement screening to find asymmetries before they become injuries, strength and power development, and sport-specific conditioning. Your performance training is informed by a full clinical picture of your injury history — an advantage a standalone gym cannot offer.
